1. Get your notebook. Have out in front of you the Teen articles and FLEE map. Wait quietly.
Classwork:
1. Students who did not make above 59 on their Vocabulary test will retest.
2. All other students to begin writing their argumentation essay to the following prompt:
Write an essay in which you take a position on whether teens should work for experience or money.
Choose the side that you believe has the strongest argument.
- *The strongest argument may not necessarily be the one that you agree with.
- *Choose the side that you have the most evidence for.
- *Use your flee map to help you organize your essay.
- *You need a minimum of three quotes.

Answer the following in your notebook. Draw a line under your work from yesterday, write the date, then answer the following:
How do you feel about Pittman's testimony, bottom of page 3, that he turned the lifeboat around and pulled in the oars? Do you think he was right or wrong to do so?
Classwork:
1. Re-read the article.
2. Using the RACE strategy, answer Discussion Question 3 on page 7. You may write on the back of the page if you need space.
